    • Is ninja from Albania 👍

    • Dunno if anyone cares at all but in less than 15 minutes I hacked my girlfriends Facebook account using SicZine. Just google for it if you wanna try it yourself

    • The Democrats need to pass legislation to save you from yourself and ban you from buying any more Mini Coopers.

    • @Tim kinley Install a youtube ad blocker in your browser to block the ads. As for "sponsored content" int the video, just forward passed it.

    • Hoovie would you share what you use or suggest a good camera Thanks

  • Yes!!!

  • Many years ago a friend and I removed the engine from my real Mini in 20 minutes.

  • One hour to take it out and one week to put it back in.

  • Can't wait to see the update on this. Can't imagine how backlogged parts are

  • Hit me up if you decide to sell that Mini! I sent you an email as well. Since it’s been rescued I would love to keep it alive and appreciate it’s fun driving as I miss my Fiat that got totaled a few years ago. Love the videos btw! I’ve been watching since the grandpa Lincoln you made for Dougs Autotrader column haha

  • Sitting in the engine bay was funny! 1.24 hours to remove the heart out is awesome! Great job Ninja!

  • How about spendi 100 bucks for new headlights?

  • Johnny is "The Car Wizard" of BMW repair except, he's "The Car Ninja" so...he works in stealth mode. Both guys are genius mechanics and Hoovie's lucky to have found both of them given the sheer volume of Hoopties in his fleet of cool (mostly) cars.

  • The subdued oboe currently found because friend complementarily bounce plus a kindhearted wine. null, wakeful barometer

  • WOW I hope a millionaire can save money on a engine removal...I mean we are in a pandemic and people can’t afford to pay rent or eat but fingers crossed that a millionaire 10X’s over saves some cash....wow that was close thank the lord

  • Nose coming off is easy in a northern climate because all the bolts are corroded with the salt and snap off ! BMW down spec'd all the bolts as a cost cutting measure because if this type of major repair was needed it would be out of warranty and no one in their right mind would contemplate BMW shop prices..🤣🤣🤣🤣

  • Hello Hoovie; any progress work on the Mini Cooper S?

  • Das Europäische Ninja!

  • Christ almighty, that clutch is *fried.*

  • The 1 hour estimate was given under the impression that you would NOT interrupt. You breached contract and therefore forefeit your free repair.

  • Ninja and Wizard seem like dope people to grab a beer with lol

  • Toyotas at 100k miles: you should probably change the oil, totally your call though. BMWs at 100k miles: you should probably just change the whole car.

  • money pit mini cooper

  • The car ninja is really amazing. He’s an artist.

    • It never fails. When you get an “easy” job that your fully comfortable with and confident you can knock it out “real quick” That’s when everything fights you.

  • And I used to get mad every time I had to take the wheel off to change a headlight bulb in my 2014 Altima..

  • Why don’t you upgrade the parts, there’s other u tubers who have made the car better, that should make the car more valuable or desirable. Make it what it should be.

    • starting to like the ninja better than the wizard

  • Man this white boy is making money on EEpush

  • everytime Hoovie talks to Ninja he should add 5 minutes

  • Nothing helps a mechanic focus on the job at hand like a hyper-jumpy EEpushr crowding his workspace and shouting out countdown numbers.

  • Hoovie: Blah Blah Blah? Ninja: Yes

  • Thanks Elliott lol

  • Eagerly awaiting an update on this one. I love my mini and was stoked to see you picked one up. Once its done, you're gonna have a blast in it!

  • Where is the car ninja from? that accent has me curious

  • 2 inches of ice and upwards of 10 inches of snow in Memphis essentially shut this entire city down. I’ve been here 24 years and have never seen anything like it.

  • you too can do it at home! with an a/c machine, air tools, drain pans, massive toolbox and of course... an auto lift...

  • He's charging 6 grand 'cause he knows no one else will do it, at all, much less for more...🤣🤣🤣

  • Hoovie. The guy that's on a first name basis with more than one mechanic.

  • Oh c'mon... we already have to deal with those ads from youtube itself.... -.-"

  • It never fails. When you get an “easy” job that your fully comfortable with and confident you can knock it out “real quick” That’s when everything fights you.

  • If you can't pull it off part supply shelf , and have order anything pack lunch because pandemic has back logged shipping anything

  • starting to like the ninja better than the wizard

  • It never fails. When you get an “easy” job that your fully comfortable with and confident you can knock it out “real quick” That’s when everything fights you.

  • Anyone else skip ahead when it came time for the sponsorship plug?

  • The car ninja really is a ninja if he can get an engine out in 1 1/2 hours! . Extremely impressive.

    • dropping the coolant. By an electrician and and his 20 year old daughter.

  • Not a mini

  • Your interruptions are a pain. So are the negative comments you make.

    • a real ninja with this kick lol

  • good working

  • CAR Ninja is a Really good mechanic, Car Technician, Liked

  • The car ninja seems extremely cool as fuck and humble. Even WatchJR go talked about how cool he can be working using his shop. Hard to find people like that.

  • How are you supposed to do that clutch with the engine in the car!?!

  • Hey sell this Cooper to this guy named Cooper when you're done fixing it up. For real, I'll fly out and drive it back.

    • Wow I wish I knew mechanics around me like this

  • Weren't you banging on about how difficult they were to work on? You'll make your mind up one day

    • What a nightmare to work on I bet.

  • way worse than BMW engineering the R generation cars were Rover engineered using sourced tritec engines aka Chrysler or Peugeot engines in the second generation. They were not BMW engineered till the 3rd generation cars

  • Do a K24 Honda engine swap! quite popular and you gain power with proper reliability!

    • I have a great amount of respect for wizard and ninja... they work so hard

  • Lay off those adverts please Hoovie!

  • Hoovie you have to let song the Shota for the Ninja when he's done mini. 🇦🇱😊

  • What a ninja!

  • HI I had an Original Mini when they where smaller in the early 1980's , the engine bay was small the battery had to mounted in boot, or the trunk as I'm in the UK

    • Remember everyone you don’t pay for time you pay for knowledge.

  • Gearbox out, clutch changed, box rebuilt, front end bushes replaced and power steering pump changed, all without removing the engine, de gassing the air conditioner or dropping the coolant. By an electrician and and his 20 year old daughter.

    • @foopyu nooui, very likely, whatever a shiptar is, he’s right about the bloody shifter linkages thou, they are proper shits to get off.

    • No way the ninja is a shiptar

  • This is still my favorite car, i dont even care if it's a wreck and breaks, i just love mini coopers

  • a real ninja with this kick lol

  • Car Ninja is on like 4 different channels. He needs own channel! I'd support it.

  • Car ninja seens like the nicest guy ever. I want to be his friend 😂

  • Impressive, a very qualified mechanic.

  • A real mechanic would never say "reboot it" as it will always fail.

    • Da Fuq! Hoovie! What gives you the right to judge mini owners and your unjust perception that because their parents didn’t set them up with craploads of money like you. I ow

  • I have a great amount of respect for wizard and ninja... they work so hard

  • Wow I wish I knew mechanics around me like this

  • 2:09 was hilarious.

  • What a nightmare to work on I bet.

  • between.

  • You can tell this repair was expensive by the number of ads that are squeezed into this video.

  • He charged that much due to flat rape time. Flat rate is flat rape and needs to be done away with! Also , german engineering is always bad.

    • Most skilled Mechanic I have every come across.

  • No way the ninja is a shiptar

  • Remember everyone you don’t pay for time you pay for knowledge.

  • B Hoovie, you have got to stay out of the way and let him work!

  • You've got an Albanian ninja there

  • I would love to see Ninja work on some American cars! Would be funny. Maybe have Ninja work on something American and the Wizard work on a beemer! Could make for some good content

  • Ninja 🥷 is impressive ✊The engine came out in record time ✊

  • I’m wearing my Hoovies Garage tee shirt right now ✊

  • He charges $6k because he can get the engine out in an hour and you can’t. 😂

  • Da Fuq! Hoovie! What gives you the right to judge mini owners and your unjust perception that because their parents didn’t set them up with craploads of money like you. I own a German car and know first hand the expense to maintain them. While on this twisty road I have seen many poorly maintained BMW’s. My thought? Change your sloppy attitude and begin to celebrate the cars you are so fortunate to own. Stop calling yourself the dumbest. Yes, I mean grow up

    • "so much room for activities"! Lool 😆 love that movie, so quotable!👌

  • So why are people then still buying German cars?

    • speaking of fast engine outs, during my time as a tank crewman in the Marines, I've seen an engine/transmission out in 20 minutes.

  • "Engineered by BMW" it wasn't. Rover developed it and BMW took it when they asset stripped Rover.

  • up with shenanigan

  • I can answer this question for you, the reason you pay more than the time is the same reason you pay all tradesmen. You pay for their years of experience and all the training they have gone though to get to this level. I’m not a tradesman but I am very experienced at paying them 👍

    • Is the Ninja doing the 100k miles supercharger service too? Usually the reason those Minis are sold on. Keep up the good work. Really enjoy your videos over here in the UK.

  • After doing the timing chain on my 07 Mini, I can confirm that this is absolutely insane. Shop time for the job was something like 13 hours.

  • Most skilled Mechanic I have every come across.

  • the mechanic shows amazing restraint by not slugging the obnoxious host in the face

  • D series out of a civic- 40 minutes MAX.

  • I used to work at this shop in Medford oregon when I was 19 years old. 11 years ago. There was only me and one other guy that worked on the cars. We did r and r work. The owner only did transmission rebuilds. He could whip them out super fast so he was mostly out looking for more customers or picking up parts. Well me and the other guy which was his younger brother. We were working on this mitsubishi 3000gt. It was pile. We had gotten a replacement engine to swap and we pulled the engine and swapped a junk yard one back in in two hours. I can't remember how long it was supposed to take but will never forget that we yanked it out and put a new one in completely in two hours. Now it woulda took longer by myself. But this was two people pulling stuff off at once. It turned out to be a shit engine anyway so it wasn't worth it. But I still can't believe how fast we got it done. Shit it took me an hour the other day just to pull my radiator out of my Suzuki aerio. The average person probably couldn't get that mini cooper engine out in 3 or 4 hours but when you do that everyday and have done hundreds. He coulda got it done in a hour if it went all right. But sometimes you have hangups like seized bolts and shit that won't come apart. Or studs or bolts that snap. I love working on cars. I love watching anything and everything about cars. Honestly it's a very good skill to learn. Even if it's just simple things. Most people run thier car into the ground because they think it's to complicated but really when you learn what a car is and what an engine does and the parts that make it work then you can almost apply it to every vehicle.

  • I expect one day to open the hood of a red mini and see Hoovie looking out.

  • I saw a program where it takes BMW 56 hours to completely assemble a Mini. I call that BS because it took us less than 30 hours to assemble a Caterpillar 966 M wheel loader.

  • Where is The Ninja from?

  • up with shenanigan

  • car ninja seems like such a douche bag i can’t even watch videos with him in them anymore lol

  • When I see Hoovie I think "manscaping"... :-/

    • Ninja is getting alot more comfortable in front of the Camera

  • speaking of fast engine outs, during my time as a tank crewman in the Marines, I've seen an engine/transmission out in 20 minutes.

    • I have been trying to find details of a stunt that the military did at the Royal Tournament one year. Didn't they do an engine swap on a Mini Metro in five minutes or something ? Things were probably rigged with quick releases etc but the car was driven into the stadium and driven out with a different engine.

  • "so much room for activities"! Lool 😆 love that movie, so quotable!👌

  • Hoovie, you alright. 👍

  • Is the Ninja doing the 100k miles supercharger service too? Usually the reason those Minis are sold on. Keep up the good work. Really enjoy your videos over here in the UK. 😁

  • A countdown timer in the upper left corner would have been great!

  • Gsxr1000 swap it

  • Thanks for the great content

  • Amazing work by 'The Car Ninja'. I figure having an audience, other than the camera, is good for another 30 mins. You may need to pony up for the parts washer, that thing looked pretty nasty.
